Texas Silver Rounds

The Texas Mint offers the Texas Silver Round, featuring the geographic outline of the State of Texas and the world-famous Texas Star on the obverse of the coin. It's made from 99.99% pure, fine silver. Unlike the plastic boxes from government mints (with breakable vinyl straps), Texas Precious Metals produces the world's only durable cold-rolled steel custom monster box with powder-coated finish. These boxes are sealed and sequentially numbered with unique serial numbers.

History of the Texas Silver Round

In 2018, Texas Precious Metals spun off the Texas Mint as its own division with the purpose of distributing an expanded product line of beautifully designed, world-class bullion products to other precious metals wholesalers and retailers. Using the Texas State Capitol as the theme for these products, the Texas Mint introduced one-ounce gold rounds, one-ounce gold bars, one-ounce silver bars, ten-ounce silver bars, and one-hundred-ounce silver bars, in addition to the one-ounce Texas Silver Round.

Which is the Best Gold Coin to Buy?

Scarcity, design, and demand determine which coins are considered most collectible at any given point in time. Coins purchased as gifts or collectible investments are often chosen because someone prefers their design. Every year, both private and sovereign mints produce new coins with unique design variations, some of which are minted only for a limited time, thereby influencing their value and availability. The Texas Mint offers the Texas Gold Round for those wishing to purchase gold coins for the lowest possible premium and without being subject to 1099-B reporting. The 1-oz Texas Gold Round, made of .9999 pure, fine gold, is the least expensive gold medallion on the market.
