The 5oz 2025 Texas Silver Round (Reverse Proof) depicts a Texas cowboy steer wrestling. The embodiment of "grabbing the bull by the horns," steer wrestling exemplifies the Texas spirit of grit and determination. Steer wrestling, also known as "bulldogging", is a classic rodeo event in which a horse-mounted rider chases a steer, drops from the horse to the steer, then wrestles the steer to the ground by grabbing its horns and pulling it off-balance so that it falls to the ground. Bulldogging is one of rodeo's most challenging events, and it carries a high risk of injury to the cowboy.
