Digital Privacy and Data Collection Notice

Our website contains data collection and similar technologies that we use to personalize content, provide various site features, to understand how people use and navigate our sites and to make our pages and products more secure. By using the Texmetals.com website to interact with your account, information may be collected to improve systems or provide verification of proper account holder use.       1. Processing customer account requests
      2. Perform analytics, system maintenance, conducting of research
      3. Develop and improve our products and services
      4. Provide customer service training
      5. Send private messages to customers, updates, security alerts, and account notifications
      6. Process, handle, or asses any claims or similar claims that may arise from the interaction with your customer account
      7. Determine your country of residence based on automated review of your account information and your interactions with the TPM platform through the Texmetals.com website
      8. Enable your use of our products and services.
    2. Security usage
      1. We may use the information collected to:
        1. Stay consistent with our privacy policies along with our terms and conditions stated in our account holder agreement.
        2. Detect, prevent, assess, and address fraud and security risks
        3. Verify or authenticate information provided by you, including identify information.
        4. Conduct checks against databases and other information sources for identification validation
        5. Comply with our legal obligations, including responding to legal requests, prevention of identity theft or fraud, protection of our rights
        6. Enforcing our agreements with third parties as described in Section 1.5

    1. Use of customer information with third party providers: We may share your information with corporate affiliates (who improve the platform, payment services, and affiliate services) or service providers. Examples of these affiliates or service providers include but are not limited to: third party applications, integrated member service, partner website, processing a customer claim, integrated payment system. This is to improve to user experience and optimize the TPM platform.
    2. Compliance with Law and Protection of our rights. By using our service, consent is given but may be revoked through written request not provide such information
      1. Disclosure.       2. Tax Authorities. Where legally required or permissible according to applicable law, we may disclose customer accounts to relevant tax authorities or government agencies, depending on where you are based, for the purposes of the tax authorities’ determination of proper compliance with relevant tax obligations.
  4. Your Rights
    You can exercise any of the rights described in this section consistent with applicable law. You may contact our customer concierge team regarding this data subject rights request and how to submit a request. We may ask you to verify your identity and request before taking further action on your request.
    1. Managing your Information. You can access and update some of your personal information through your Account settings. It is your responsibility to keep this information accurate and current throughout your use of our services.
    2. Access. In some jurisdictions, applicable law may entitle you to request certain copies of your personal information or information about how we handle your personal information, request copies of personal information that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and/or request that we transmit this information to another service provider, where technically feasible.
    3. Erasure. In some jurisdictions, you can request that your personal information be deleted. Please note that if you request deletion of your personal information, or if your account is suspended, terminated, or voluntarily closed:
      1. We may retain your personal information as necessary for legitimate business interest, such as prevention of money laundering, fraud detection, and enhancing safety for our customers.
      2. We may retain and use your personal information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal, tax, reporting, and auditing obligations.
      3. Residual copies of your personal information may not be removed from our backup systems for a limited period of time.

  6. Changes To this Policy
    1. TPM reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time in accordance with applicable law. Revisions to this policy will be updated to this website and notice will be provided through an updated link on the TPM main webpage allowing customers to see the updated policies. This notice will be provided at least twenty-four hours prior to update and the notice will remain on the homepage for up to seven (7) days after the update has occurred.
