Texas Precious Metals Nasdaq Bell Ringing: Media Coverage Roundup

Y'all Street Physical Gold and Silver ETFs Debut on Nasdaq

Aug 14, 2026

Texas Precious Metals rang the Nasdaq Closing Bell on July 31, 2026, marking a milestone for the Shiner-based precious metals company following the successful launch of the Y'all Street Physical Gold ETF (NASDAQ: YSAU) and the Y'all Street Physical Silver ETF (NASDAQ: YSAG).

Company leadership traveled to New York for the ceremony at the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square. Representing Texas Precious Metals at the bell were Tarek Saab, CEO and Co-founder; John Cathey, President; Jason Kaspar, Co-founder; Shai Herman, Managing Director of Digital Products; Evan Delaune, Program Director of Capital Markets at Y'all Street Asset Management; Paul Bowden, Managing Director of Trading; and Keith Kieschnick, Chief of Staff.

The Ceremony

Speaking from the Nasdaq podium before ringing the bell, Saab addressed the assembled team and Nasdaq guests, framing the moment in the context of the company's 15-year history.

"Thank you to Nasdaq for welcoming us and allowing us to celebrate this remarkable milestone for Texas Precious Metals," Saab said. "This moment is the product of 15 years of hard work. Over the years, we've grown from a bullion dealer into one of the largest vertically integrated precious metals companies in the United States."

Saab continued: "Today we celebrate the Y'all Street Physical Gold ETF trading under the ticker YSAU and the Y'all Street Physical Silver ETF trading under the ticker YSAG. Our vision was to create products with assets exclusively held on U.S. soil. The name Y'all Street reflects what we are bringing together today: the scale and accessibility of Wall Street with the independence, common sense, and entrepreneurial spirit of Texas."

He closed his remarks: "From Shiner, Texas to Nasdaq — this is an extraordinary day. Thank you. God bless. And let's ring that bell."

In post-ceremony remarks, Saab reflected on what the moment represented for his team: "Just an incredible moment in the company's history. We are really excited to get these products listed. It's been a labor of love, and to see it come to fruition — I just couldn't be prouder of the team."

Background

YSAU and YSAG began trading on Nasdaq earlier in July 2026. The funds hold physical gold and silver in the custody of Texas Precious Metals Depository in the United States.

Every ounce of gold and silver backing the funds is fully allocated and segregated, with individual bars identified by serial number and specifications. Fund holdings are independently audited, and investors can verify the bullion through published bar lists.

Texas Precious Metals thanked Nasdaq for hosting the ceremony and recognized the contributions of its partners, including Wells Fargo, Teucrium Asset Management, and the broader team whose work helped bring YSAU and YSAG to market.

Media Coverage

The launch and bell-ringing ceremony drew coverage from financial and commodities media. The following outlets reported on the event:

Yahoo Finance covered the announcement on August 3, 2026, reporting on the launch of YSAU and YSAG, as well as the company's position as the sole custodian of the physical bullion backing both funds. The publication highlighted the funds' differentiated custody model, noting that, unlike the majority of U.S.-listed bullion ETFs — which rely on London-based custody infrastructure — both Y'all Street funds hold all assets within the United States.

Nasdaq.com featured the ceremony on its official events page, recognizing the bell ringing as part of its ongoing Closing Bell program for publicly listed companies and major market milestones.

The official ceremony video, published on the Texas Precious Metals YouTube channel, captures the full bell-ringing event, including Saab's podium remarks, the Nasdaq introduction, and the moment the bell rang.

What YSAU and YSAG Represent

The launch of YSAU and YSAG represents the culmination of more than a decade of infrastructure development at Texas Precious Metals. Founded in 2011, the company has grown from a precious metals dealer into one of the nation's largest vertically integrated precious metals companies, building out a nationwide bullion business alongside the Texas Precious Metals Depository, a world-class storage facility now serving retail investors, institutional clients, retirement accounts, family offices, wealth managers, and exchange-traded funds.

The funds arrive during a period of sustained demand for gold and silver. Gold prices have more than doubled since late 2023, and investor interest in domestically custodied precious metals exposure has grown alongside broader concerns about counterparty risk and supply chain transparency in global commodity markets.
